Trivia

The concept design work for "it's a small world" was created by Disney legend, Mary Blair.

The very first version of "it's a small world" was created for the 1964 New York World's Fair. That original version was designed by Marc Davis and was seen by more than 10 million people whilst on display from 1964 to 1965 in New York. That original show was moved to Disneyland in 1966. The Walt Disney World version was then created for Florida to open on October 1 1971.
