In-Room Internet Access: High Speed Internet Access (HSIA)

Requirements: Requires a Local Area Network (LAN) cable or in-room connection.

Price: $9.95 for 24-contiguous hours or $4.95 for 1 hour charged to the room account.


Resorts with HSIA:

High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA) is currently available in all guest rooms in each of the 22 Disney owned and operated resorts. Use of this service requires a Local Area Network (LAN) cable, which is available in the room free for guest use. The cables can be found either in room closet, on the room TV Stand, or already connected to port. If the cable is missing, please call Housekeeping for a replacement.

Fort Wilderness Preferred Campsites also have HSIA access but Guests must visit the resort's front desk to receive the necessary Modem kit for the service. A $125 refundable deposit for the modem kit is required.

The current price is $9.95 (includes tax) for 24-contiguous hours (for example, from 8:00 pm until 7:59 pm the following day) which is charged to the room account.

Technical Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by touching "56" from the Guest in-room phone or any House Phone.

Note: The Swan and Dolphin Resorts have Starwood Turbo Net High Speed Internet in all guests rooms. Requires a Local Area Network (LAN) card in your PC, presentation is via CAT5 Ethernet cable in room. Highspeed Internet costs $10.95 for 24 hours use. Wi-Fi: High Speed Wireless Internet Access

Wi-Fi is available to Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Guests with Wi-Fi enabled laptop computers or PDA's will be able to access the Internet from the common areas of each resort.

Smart City is the vendor providing this service and 24-hour technical support for those Guests who need it.

Requirements: Requires a wireless interface card (WIC), available for purchase in the resort's business center.

Price: $4.95 for the first 60 minutes or $9.95 for 24 contiguous hours

Billing: Smart City will bill the Guests using a secure credit card transaction via the on-screen Internet connection.

Dial-Up Internet Service at Resort Business Centers and in Resort rooms

In-Room Dial-Up Access: The Disney Resort hotels support mobile computing through a dataport connection on the Guest room telephone, with applicable telephone charges. Please consult with your particular Internet Service Provider (ISP) directly for the best connection closest to Orlando.

Computer Rentals: Computers are also available at the Disney Resort hotels for rental if a Guest needs to work on a project. Please call the appropriate Business Center for pricing and availability. If it is after hours, the Guest will need to call the Center in the morning.

Dial-up Internet Service may also be available at other Walt Disney World® Resort hotels. 


Disney Cruise Line Internet Access

Guests with wireless-ready laptops will find several wireless "hot spots" on both the ships, including most of the public areas -- such as Beat Street (Disney Magic)/Route 66 (Disney Wonder), Promenade Lounge, Studio Sea, Cove Café and all open areas on decks nine and 10.

Rates for wireless access start at $.75 per minute, but minutes can be bundled in increments of 100- and 250-minutes at $55 and $100 respectively. Guests not traveling with laptops can use existing internet cafés located in the Promenade Lounge, Cove Café, Aloft (Disney Wonder) and the Stack (Disney Magic). 


Disney’s Vero Beach Resort (Vero Beach, FL) & Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort (Hilton Head, SC)

All rooms, studios and villas currently support internet dial-up access through a dataport connection on the Guest room telephone, with applicable telephone charges. Please consult with your particular Internet Service Provider (ISP) directly for the best connection phone numbers closest to the resort.

High Speed Internet Access at Disney's Vero Beach Resort is available through a computer located in the main lobby. The charge is $5 per half-hour (or fraction of it).
