The construction of Pandora - The World of AVATAR has mostly been hidden behind trees, but guests are now getting to see much more of its presence as the first of the floating mountains arrive at the site.
An impressive sight from the parking lot, the first completed floating mountain is suspended from a crane as crews work around the clock fixing it into place.
The support structure is particularly interesting, which when complete, will give the illusion of the rocks floating above the terrain.
Walt Disney Imagineering recruited environment and rockwork specialist Zsolt Hormay back in 2012 to work on this project, which looks set to push the boundaries of themed environments in theme parks.
Pandora - The World of AVATAR is planned to open in early 2017 at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
