Merida had her final day at Fairytale Garden yesterday in Magic Kingdom, as the location closed to be transformed into the new meet and greet for Mirabel from Encanto.

Merida meet and greet at Magic Kingdom

You can now meet Merida at the Enchanted Glade Gazebo in Liberty Square. Merida's meet and greet times are 9am, 10:05am, 11:10am, 12:15pm, 2:05pm, and 3:10pm.

Mirabel will greet guests in Fairytale Garden surrounded by whimsical décor inspired by La Familia Madrigal later this fall.

And the back of those Liberty Square buildings look pretty generic and not Ye Olde Colonial tymes. Especially if you enter one of them and find yourself in a 21st Century Christmas shop. It looks like it could easily be a side road off of Main Street.

I suppose it's a technicality. Once you cross over the moat, you're in Liberty Square next to the Christmas Shoppe. Visually, you still appear to be in the hub area.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek -- I actually do wonder why they bother labeling it as part of Liberty Square, though.
