A new character has joined the meet and greet lineup in Frontierland — Romeo McGrowl is now appearing to greet guests at Magic Kingdom.

Romeo, who features in the newly reimagined Country Bear Musical Jamboree, is now meeting guests near Grizzly Hall. This is the first time Romeo has been available for meet and greets, joining fellow Country Bear characters Big Al, Wendell, and Shaker, who have also been appearing in the area since the new show debuted.

He’s dressed in his updated outfit inspired by the show, which gave the long-running attraction a fresh musical lineup and new costuming. Romeo’s rockabilly-inspired look matches his role in the show and adds a bit of flair to the Frontierland character experience.

We saw this last week. Really funny new show.

Always hate when something like this happens. Obviously I know it’s not real but it always feels unsettling to see a character with their head off or something like that.

Can they not rig up some type of suspenders?

My friend is at MK and apparently Romeo is still having trouble keeping his head on his shoulders. Nothing as major as the video from the other day, but apparently there was alot of collar adjustments from the helper

Thanks—I never knew you could check for character appearances in the app, so this is very useful information!

I just tapped on "Characters" at the top and scrolled over to Grizzly Hall, where a Mickey bubble was and tapping it brought up a list of the four bears. If it's past a certain point in the day, they won't be there. I think they stop meeting around 4pm EST- sorry I didn't see this before then! If you check in the morning they should be there

Where is this in the app? I searched and couldn’t find it.

I think it’s crazy the impact the fans have on them for some decisions but not others.

I have no clue. People would buy it regardless, so why not keep it and sell it?

Their new costumes don’t match the show designs anyways, so the art for those three is close enough. They didn’t even bother changing Shakers fur color. He’s still brown even though he’s only ever been gray or yellow, lmao.

Not sure if it's been shared yet but here's Romeo's autograph

I don’t why but this post is taking me out. Seriously they are removing the coin because it displays a dead attraction at DL ?

It doesn't look like any of the other bears have their profiles updated to fit the new show/designs.

I definitely think if they were to do it the show should be adjoining or part of HB to justify the name change. I also think Pooh should be Rescuers themed but that's for another discussion.
