Construction is continuing in the Discovery River at Disney's Animal Kingdom for the upcoming Disney KiteTails show.
Work is wrapping up on decorating the platforms that will house the jetskis and props that will be used in the show.
Cast Members at Disney's Animal Kingdom will be able to attend previews on September 28 and 30. The previews will take place at sunrise before the park opens to guests.
The show will use oversized props and kites adorned with Disney animal friends from "The Little Mermaid," "a bug's life" and "Finding Nemo." Music will include original, worldbeat arrangements of favorite Disney tunes. Watercraft will pull massive 30ft long three-dimensional kites depicting familiar characters from "The Lion King" or "The Jungle Book," including Baloo, Zazu, Simba, King Louie, Timon and Pumbaa.
The show will officially debut on October 1 as part of The World's Most Magical Celebration at Walt Disney World. Showtimes will be 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 3:15pm, 4:15pm, and 5:15pm daily.
