A new Oscars photo op has arrived in the Town Center at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World.

Guests can take a photo with an oversized version of the famous Oscar statuette, complete with red carpet.

The 96th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which will honor the best films of 2023, and is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on March 10, 2024. The event will air live on ABC from 7 pm ET.

The theme is Disney movies, which is completely different from the other three parks which have no references to even a single Disney movie.

Two halves of one, 50 percent now on both. But the holdouts are holdouts for a reason. Everything post 2008 is pretty replaceable and out of place.

I am presuming that this activation has been paid for by ABC, and they chose the location where they felt it would work best for their objectives.
