Disney has given us a look inside Disney Springs ahead of tomorrow's reopening following the COVID-19 shutdown.
The parking garages are now equipped with temperature screening checkpoints, with three lanes divided by railings. Markings on the ground keep guests inside social distancing parameters, and the screening is being performed using touch-free thermometers by AdventHealth - one of the area's major health providers. The thermometers are positioned about an inch from the forehead and require a temperature of less than 100.4F for entry into Disney Springs. Signage in the area also warns of the risk of COVID-19 and how visitors will voluntary assume all risks related to exposure.
Elsewhere, there is new signage, hand-washing stations and ground markings to maintain distances in areas that are likely to hold queues to enter capacity limited locations.
