The Magic Kingdom is offering another dessert party with parade viewing - Tiana's Riverboat Party, debuting November 29 2016.

This special event is available for $49 per adult and $29 for children ages 9 and under (tax included). For reservations, you can book online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

Check in is at the Liberty Square Riverboat entrance 45 minutes before the parade begins. The Riverboat will be closed to guests 2 hours before the parade begins, and for one after the parade.

Here are the details:

"Make the most of your next visit to Magic Kingdom park, where Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen are throwing an unforgettable party… and you’re invited! The occasion begins on the dock as your royal hosts welcome you and your sweet tooth to an ice cream social, complete with ice cream and toppings, drinks, and sweet treats.

Then board the Liberty Square Riverboat and relax while enjoying the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade—all from the comfort of your special viewing location!

After the parade, Tiana and Naveen will join you to continue the party as you all cruise around the Rivers of America, circling Tom Sawyer Island."

Here's another view from @MouseChat on Twitter contrasted with one I took from two years ago:

Just out of curiosity, how come it took you nearly 14 years to start posting on this forum after joining?

Quite possible there are bigger things and a longer term goal here that isnt visible just yet. But, whatever. Some of you will complain regardless of what Disney does. I dont know how I could live such a miserable unhappy existence complaining all the time. But carry on.

Are you sure the trees were moved? Or were they chopped down?

Princess LeiaFeb 10, 2017

They just finished charging people $649 for shade and that didn't go well. Don't give Disney the idea to reduce the price.

Further proof that WDW management only sees $$$, and will do anything in pursuit of it. Just head-shakingly disappointing.

Things like this are truly disgusting. It's one thing to update the hub for crowd-control. But this is a clear case of greed sacrificing show. And it's not even a popular offering! We lose all these trees and the Riverboat for 3 hours each day so 45 people can take out a 2nd mortgage to pay for Edy's ice cream and a crappy view of a parade they could have just sat down and watched while eating a $5.50 Plaza Ice Cream Edy's Sundae. Mind-boggling.

Wonder what is costs to move the trees and replant vs the income form this?

BandiniFeb 10, 2017

I am sickened that the management continues to destroy the park's aesthetic for the sake of a buck.

I understand it isnt selling well so you may be right. Then they'll have "The Country Bear Jamboree Porch Festival of Fantasy Ice Cream Social."

I guess there's shade on the boat, right? So they traded in some green for the green....... I'm utterly disgusted. We all know the view of the parade still sucks and the event won't be around this time next year.
