The model railway in EPCOT's Germany pavilion has been updated with new buildings and landscaping.

According to Cast Members we spoke with at the Germany pavilion, Walt Disney Imagineering has been on site over the past few weeks working on the updates.

There are several new buildings scattered throughout the elaborate railway display.

The model railway in the Germany Pavilion features multiple G-scale trains, which are among the largest model trains, ranging in size from 1:22.5 to 1:29. You can find the railway along the World Showcase promenade on the far right side of Germany.

The railway display was initially installed as a temporary exhibit for the Flower and Garden Festival but was so popular with guests that it became a permanent addition. Decorations within the railway are updated for each festival throughout the year.

Heck yes! This train display is such a lovely, wonderful minor attraction.

They couldn’t fit the Tiana’s foods logos on the little walls…

Time scaled down too. In WDI and TDO timeline this took 4 years!

I love when a gecko gets in there and perches on a building like Godzilla

This is one of the best suggestions I have ever seen on these forums. Of course, then this wouldn’t have been finished until 2030.

I wonder how much of the $70 Billion is left for WDW after this project?

They should have put up tiny little constructions walls around the little buildings before/during the changes.

Definitely glad Brazil got cut before they pulled an Innoventions with the train garden. I always hangout here for a good while every trip.

Nice!

It would be great if the models and gardens were queue or post show for such a thing.

YES!! They could use the indoor space behind the QS that was supposed to be a ride…awesome idea, but unfortunately, too logical and we, as super fans, are too stupid…

I am so glad they are keeping this going and not paving it over for another food booth.
