North-African band Ribab Fusion are appearing at Epcot's Morocco Pavilion for a limited engagement.

Ribab Fusion celebrates Morocco's Amazigh (Berber) culture as it flies from ‘70s-style funk to Afropop dance vibes, from slow jams to high-energy call-and-responses choruses - and featuring the one-stringed bowed ribab.

See the in-park Times Guide for performance times, typically Wednesday through Sunday until January 2 2016. The band has replaced B'net Al Houwariyate.

Check out the clip below for one of the bands latest music videos.

That was one of the reasons I loved morockin. Back on track, just saw this band 2 days ago and they are great! Went back and caught them again. Good move Disney!

We have little faith in any "dates" offered by WDW. Anyone else remember the "limited time engagement" of one summer that was supposed to be the return of MSEP?

dreamfinderOct 27, 2015

Their Facebook has a post that seems to indicate that they have other dates scheduled in NYC after the published dates at WDW. (My translation is terrible, so it may have been before)

The belly dancer was the reason I hated MoRockin.

Yea! Disney. Good move. The other band was about as much fun as a visit to the dentist. I understand it's "Edutainment", but they lacked the "...tainment" part of that concept.

I'm not going to get my hopes up, but I really do hope this band stays longer with Disney. As a local i'll see them anyway, but this is the best new act by FAR over the past year. The energy of this group gives me slight flashbacks of Off-Kilter (if they sang Afropop lol)

Dates are in the link above.

Looks interesting -- more active than previous performers -- how long are they scheduled to be at EPCOT?

JCtheparrotheadOct 26, 2015

I like them. I would like them more if they added chainsaws to the act.

ABQOct 26, 2015

The do look fun, luckily I plan to be in Epcot on a Sunday in December and hope to catch them.

BoltOct 26, 2015

Their energy is unreal. Such a good addition.

It's a shame I'll miss it, they look like they'd be a fun group to watch live.
