Pirates of the Caribbean closing for a day later this month

The Magic Kingdom's Pirates of the Caribbean is scheduled to be closed for a one day refurbishment on December 17 2014.

The Adventureland attraction will be back open again to guests on December 18 2014.

Yep, and when I visited the park last year, he wasn't bobbing up and down OR spitting water.

I, the very person that hardly ever remembers AA's functions from one trip to the other, noticed that he wasn't spitting out the water when I was there in January 2014.

What was wrong with him? He was popping out of the well when I rode, but isn't he suppose to spit water also?

Yes, but I don't know if anyone mentioned why they are doing so again, and if it was related to whatever they did on the one day refurb.

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but they are back to loading all 6 rows of the boats with guests.

That is still true but, from what I understand, you still have to pass the entrance exam. They don't just take anybody you know!

Yea, I didn't mention the first part because that one probably didn't happen, but, the ghost.... could be!:jawdrop: Might just be one that couldn't pass the entrance qualifications at the Haunted Mansion, so he wandered over to PoTC.:joyfull:

I think @Goofyernmost pretty much summed it up there with his explaination. George was a worker who allegedly died while working on the attraction. His ghost is believed to cause mischief on the ride when he is in a bad mood.
