The large scale work at Pleasure Island has not yet started, but as an appetizer, some work is underway at addressing some guest flow issues around the Fultons/Portobello area. The bridge from Fultons to T-Rex is being widened, and some rearrangement of the planters in the area is also underway. As you can see from the photos below, it's pretty much wall to wall construction walls in that area, but the end result should see much better walkways for guests passing through this busy area.
The fountain near to the AMC Theater is also getting some attention, with new concrete being poured.
