Disney has recently filed a construction permit for the Primeval Whirl site at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The permit has a vague description of "General Construction" and will be carried out by MLC Theming INC. (Thanks to @danlb_2000 on the WDWMAGIC Forums for identifying the permit.)
According to their Linkedin profile, the Orlando-based specialty construction company works with scenic painting and aging of structures, fabricating facades, carving rock work, and more.
The permit has an expiration date of 4/29/2022.
It isn't clear if this work is for the demolition of the coaster or some other work in the space.
Disney announced in July 2020 that Primeval Whirl had permanently closed after almost a year of non-operation. The coaster has sat untouched since then, although the ride vehicles have been removed from the track and transported off-site.
