Good news, according to a source at WDW the coaster is now finished, as of Monday this week!

The safety inspectors have signed it off, so now it is in the hands of Disney bosses as to when it opens. Seems Imagineering have finished way ahead of schedule, as there are still no signs of CM training, although the test and adjust crew are in there, so they may form the opening crew.

Some of the confusion over the type of launch motors is that the Vekoma engineers refer to the launch system generically as LIM, but they are infact LSM. The windings are made by General Electric, with the armature and case being made in the UK, most likely by Force Engineering.

The pieces of track that were replaced during fine tuning were slid through the maintenance door. Each track piece that was replaced was about 6-10 ft long.

In the event of some major work being needed, the entire roof can be removed in 3 pieces!
