Soarin' Around the World will return to EPCOT beginning February 28, 2024.

Through February 27, you can still see Soarin' Over California which was introduced as part of a limited-time offering for Walt Disney World's Disney100 celebration.

Soarin' Around the World, opened on June 17 2016 as a reboot of the original Soarin' attraction. It takes guests to six continents, specifically the Great Wall of China, Sydney Harbor in Australia, Monument Valley, the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Switzerland's Matterhorn mountain, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Fans have criticized the newer version of Soarin' for its use of computer-generated imagery and heavily distorted lines of the Eiffel Tower.

Originally opened in 2005 at EPCOT, Soarin' Over California sends guests on a sweeping flyover above the Golden State for a birds-eye view of the rich landscape and topography. The original Soarin' Over California film last played at EPCOT on June 16, 2016.

Eddie Van Halen to the rest of the band when they signed Sammy Hagar.

It really feels like they're trying to rework the speaker groups with how weird the area loops have been.

If they do a Villains Land, I think Kronk would be such a perfect fit as sort of the guest avatar of one of the attractions (a la Rocket in Breakout). He is potentially the most popular WDAS character for audiences under 35.

The 1982 music is now gone.

Exactly this. I said something similar to your last sentence in the other threads:

IMHO, the World Celebration/Entrance BGM with the different arrangements of the EPCOT anthem is very nice, and evokes the 'EPCOT spirit' to the point that if you were to hear it someplace random and without being told it's music from EPCOT, you might say it "sounds like EPCOT." That said, it should just be reserved to World Celebration and let the Nature and Discovery sides have their own, or better yet, each pavilion's own.

Did someone make a call to a friend to get the music back out there? Now the real question, can we get the Seas and Imagination to follow?

UNCgolfMar 15, 2024

Hopefully someone realized it's not great to play the same music everywhere.

"Each song in a BGM loop should be melodically unique and indistinguishable from the last" -Pinar Toprak Chilling stuff.

Did an old controversial Tweet from Pinar Toprak suddenly surface?
