Refurbish? Rip them out, for gods sake! This terrible cheap looking carnival ride, with this tiny little "Aggrabah"-corner between the South Seas and colonial Africa it is even worse, is a theming overkill that has spoiled what was once beautiful AL plaza! It causes congestion and just looks terrible. It is perhaps the worst imagineering ever. Get rid of it!

I was thinking something along the lines of an open plaza where there is a smooth transition between colonial African and Polynesian architecture. :)

Aw, c'mon. There's nothing wrong with a little wishful whining. Personally, I'd like to see it replaced with something a little more useful, like a tree or even a DVC kiosk. Maybe it'll be refurbished into a Transformer.

The carpets are not going anywhere, so not really much point in talking about it.

Works for me. Just would be pleased to see it relocated. Disney Springs might be another option.

You mean the stroller parking lot at DHS? No room there. Demo the Backlot and you have room for several rides, including an Aladdin spin-n-puke.

Yes, because when I think about Morocco the first thing that comes to mind is how everyone rides flying carpets. I like the carpets, they were my DD's first WDW ride. But they are just sort of in the middle of a walkway. I'm not opposed to a mini Aladdin themed land in Adventureland, but it does seem a bit forced where it is now.

It would be prefect in the Animation Courtyard. Or perhaps Morocco on the waterfront.

Look how stunning that view is! <3

In order to better compete with Universal, the camels will be refurbished to breathe fire.

It is reviled because it single-handedly ruins an entire land. From a lush tropical paradise to a cramped, hot, claustrophobic, loud, obnoxious hellhole. Wish they would get rid of the spinner (DHS can use it!) and gave us back Adventureleand.

Better move would be to have a "refurbishment" of Adventureland as a whole and pull that piece of junk out of there altogether.

 This is closed for the 1 week my family is going to be there. We have little kids and the nice thing about Magic Carpets is that each carpet vehicle has 2 rows of seats so a whole family can ride together if they want. Plus the Magic Carpets have the highest capacity of the MK's 3 spinners, it can hold 64 people per ride, each Dumbo is half that at 32, so it takes both Dumbos to match the Carpets, and Astro only holds 24

It's that and the fact it's yet another spinner in a park that already had two spinners
