World Showcase DestiNations Discovered is a new walking tour now available at Epcot's World Showcase.

Costing $109+tax per person, the five hour walking tour takes guests through the creation of the World Showcase pavilions. The tour takes place both onstage and backstage, giving a glimpse at some of the behind-the-scenes magic.

Also part of the experience is an inclusive lunch at a World Showcase restaurant, and a cultural demonstration at one of the pavilions.

The tour takes place daily, departing at 9:30am and 10am. Park admission is required, and guests must be aged 16 and over.

Reservations can be made now on 407-939-5277.

Still thinking about doing this tour. It seems that lunch is now at Rose & Crown: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/epcot/world-showcase-destinations/

I've learned there's no point in guessing LOL.

So I guess they won't be including the Norway pavilion when it reopens????

We had a dinner at the Morocco restaurant with the dancers some years back - I remember thinking the food wasn't bad, but wasn't impressive and no need to "do over." No idea what lunch is like.

Sometimes the website can be a bit wacky. I'd call for the best information to be sure. Marie

Are they still doing this tour? I didn't see it listed on the WDW website.

To each there own, biergarten is currently one of my favorites.

After reading the article, I wouldn't have minded doing the tour (surprise to myself even) but I have absolutely no interest in eating in Morocco. Otherwise I think it sounds fun.

Here's a video that goes with the review:

There's a review online here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/walt-disney-world/epcot/a-new-tour-in-epcot-world-showcase-destinations-discovered In short- it looks like most of the tour is on stage apart from a look at the Illuminations barges and the meal is definitely in Restaurant Marakesh and its a set menu.

Checked for this Saturday and Monday and it's sold out. Didn't ask the CM but other sites are saying lunch is Morocco.

Part of this sounds interesting, I'm just one that doesn't like to see any Disney backstage stuff. I just prefer to keep WDW as wonderous as possible. Not to put down this tour idea or anything, I think learning more about the creation of the pavilions would be extremely fascinating. But I'll just stick to being part of the audience for now.

We are definitely doing this on our next trip. Sounds interesting and seems fairly priced. And actually I hope lunch is at the Biergarten, as the husband is german and loves their food.
