Maria & Enzo's launched an all new A La Carte Sunday Brunch this summer and we were recently invited to try some of the new offerings at the Disney Springs restaurant.
We were big fans of the original buffet style Sunday Brunch, and we are very happy to say that the new A La Carte brunch is even better. You still have access to the regular menu, but there are six brunch entrée dishes along with speciality cocktails and the famous chocolate fountain.
If you are looking for a special occasion brunch or a vacation splurge in a setting away from the hustle and bustle of the parks - Maria & Enzo's Brunch might just be what you are looking for. You can take your time to relax, order courses at your own pace, and enjoy some live music and views of the Disney Springs lake.
Brunch begins with a basket of baked goods - croissants, bread and muffins.
A trip to Maria & Enzo's isn't complete without trying some of their excellent Formaggi E Salumi. You have a choice of 3 cheeses and 3 salumi.
One of the drink specials that we highly recommend is the Sparkling Wine Flight - great value at $17 for three 4oz pours.
If you prefer something a little more spirit forward, the Manhattan Via Milano is a great choice.
Moving onto the main courses, the Braised Beef Short Rib Ragu was a favorite - smoked pancetta, cipolline onions, roasted tomato, spicy Italian sausage ragu, soft poached hen egg, pecorino romano cheese. It is priced at $24 and is ideal to share.
If meats and cheeses are you thing, the Italian Breakfast Board is a great option - it includes soft parmesan cheese scrambled eggs, sweet Italian sausage, prosciutto di parma, fior di latte mozzarella caprese, rosemary parmesan fingerling potatoes, toasted schiacciata bread.
Other entrées include Spaghetti Alla Carbonara, Frittata Rustica and a Chicken Parmesan Panino, with most priced around $20.
Moving onto some of the sweeter menu items Maria & Enzo's has an excellent Nutella Stuffed French Toast on offer. It is a brioche bread stuffed with nutella, topped with warm berries and mascarpone whipped cream.
And finally, if you still have room to spare, there is the Chocolate Fountain for dessert. $9 gets you a plate of pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, pretzel rods, marshmallows, rice krispy treats, blondies and brownies to take to the chocolate fountain.
Brunch at Maria & Enzo's takes place every Sunday from 10am to 1:30pm, and reservations can be made online.
