Epcot's Spice Road Table is now available for reservations at both lunch and dinner.

The small-plate restaurant in the Morocco Pavilion was previously walk-up only, but has suffered from low attendance since its opening in January of this year.

The restaurant is available for reservations from December 2 2014, with operating hours of 11am to 9pm daily.

Nope. According to http://restaurantmarrakesh.com/mar/about_us.asp Rashid Lyazidi and Rashid Choufani opened it. There is also an official pavilion website http://www.moroccopavilion.com/ I vaguely recall someone saying that the Moroccan government still had their hands in it somehow, not sure if that was true or not.

T-Rex, Planet Hollywood, and Rainforest have taken the DDP since at least 2011, this I know for certain.

never knew trex took the dining plan as its not disney owned never knew it got horrible reviews, though i do know its a bit overpriced, but seeing as its more of an attraction place, thats to be expected

mutekiNov 24, 2014

Yeah, I think that would change things significantly. A couple years ago TRex was not on the dining plan but you could get reservations for it through the Disney system. We used to not have any problems doing this and availability was plenty. Once they started accepting the plan, it has become very difficult to get a reservation there, even with the horrible reviews the place gets.

I will eat there is they offer the 30% again.

lostpro9hetNov 23, 2014

This! Even with the 30% discount offer they had this past Fall we felt we grossly overpaid for what we got this September. IMO, the food was real good but simple and overpriced.

Is it Landrys?

GoofGoofNov 22, 2014

Right. That's my point. You are saying the place wasn't popular because people don't like/want Moroccan food. If the food is still the same but the popularity increases after adding reservations then it's logical to assume that it was the lack of reservations and not the food that was holding it back. If the place is still empty then it's probably just a lack of interest in the food. Give it 6 months or so and we'll have a pretty good idea. Actually, Disney will know sooner since ADRs become available at 6 months out.

Remember though, it is not Disney operated.

wdwfan4verNov 22, 2014

There is a problem with that because you have wait long term to find out. It might gain popularity in the short term, but not in the long term. You also are dealing with the fact people do get desperate for picking a table service since some table service places at WDW are very popular or can't get the time they want.

The biggest joke of FP+ resides at HS. A FP+ for Muppets - while I love the show that is a tragic lol. I used to think Spaceship was a joke but now waits can be 20 or more minutes even during a slow time whereas it used to always be walkon. Even GMR that used to have decent waits (maybe 20 minutes) I was shocked to see a 60 minute wait last week. Its the first time ever I did not ride this attraction.

From your comment prices went down from my last trip there - food looked tempting but the prices were repellent.
