Disney has again updated the official web page for The Beak and Barrel Tavern, revealing new operational details about what guests can expect when the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern opens in late 2025 at Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland.
According to the latest update, each party’s visit to The Beak and Barrel will be limited to 45 minutes, suggesting the tavern will operate on a timed experience model rather than as a traditional open-ended lounge. Disney is likely implementing this to manage capacity and maintain guest flow. Additionally, a two-drink maximum per adult will be enforced—both policies are similar to those already in place at Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Disney also notes that the tavern will take place in an enclosed space with low lighting and high activity, which gives guests a better idea of the sensory environment inside.
These updates follow earlier reveals that the tavern will feature sing-alongs, storytelling, and themed food and drinks, hosted by Captain Merry Goldwyn and her parrot companion, Rummy. More information, including the full menu and reservation details, is expected as the late 2025 opening approaches.
