Refurbishment extended - Trattoria al Forno at Disney's BoardWalk Resort

Trattoria al Forno at Disney's BoardWalk will be closed for longer than expected.

The restaurant closed for refurbishment on June 11 was was expected to reopen June 18. Disney now says that it will reopen late June.

Trattoria al Forno is closed for refurbishment this summer

During the closure, no dinner offerings will be available. However, Trattoria al Forno will provide a limited breakfast menu during those dates, with Guests who book breakfast being directed to dine in the Flying Fish dining room.

The nearby Pizza Window will also be closed until late June.

Breakfast will be served in the Flying Fish dining room

No they were hiring for this location. So it’s a little confusing bc it doesn’t look like it will be done anytime in the near future.

So with the roof still being exposed plywood, I would assume without it being watertight they have not begun drywall inside...Usually the structure is completely sealed from the elements before that starts... So I am assuming the interior is still at studs and concrete floor... And they are advertising about hiring? Must be for another location in the area...

This thread reminds me of the BAH demolition thread, except the opposite. With the BAH, we all tuned in to see how much progress they made overnight. With the Cake Bake Shop, we all tune in to see how little progress they made in the last week.
