The official Disney Parks Blog is celebrating Half Way to Haloween this week, and has hinted at an upcoming announcement for the parks this Thursday.

The blog post said, "During our big, daylong #HalfwaytoHalloween celebration on Thursday, it’s nothing but treats as we share several frightfully fantastic Disney Parks Halloween and other spooky announcements that you won’t want to miss"

For 2021, Disney launched a new ticketed event for the Halloween season at Walt Disney World.

The new offering saw a return of the Disney After Hours events with a Halloween twist titled "Disney After Hours BOO BASH" in place of Mickey's No-So-Scary Halloween Party.

It remains uncertain which direction Disney will go for Haloween 2022, but seeing as the 2021 Disney After Hours BOO BASH sold out every night and at a higher ticket price, we will likely see its return.

It had a broken link, but it was MNSSHP. No details yet.

I would argue Villain Spelltacular is better than the film it’s based on. It does a great job of incorporating lots of villains. Anyway…apparently Disney Parks briefly tweeted something about the return of MNSSHP and then deleted it? Did anyone catch the tweet before it disappeared?

It has a considerable cult following and is very popular among the young, who don’t understand why their parents weren’t bigger fans. And Villain Spelltacular enjoys excellent ratings.

It's more nostalgia for me than anything else but I enjoy watching it once a year. That 3 dollars I paid back in 2005 for that DVD is really starting to pay off :p

I wish the Halloween party would just focus on the villains. They could still make it family friendly 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was a huge box office bomb. You’re not in the minority

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict: More dates than in 2019 (which had 36) An earlier start than in 2019 (which was August 16) And it's not tough to predict higher ticket prices. My only question is how many dates are above $165/person.

Oh good! You never know what to expect when someone pulls out the Popcorn . . .

Nah I think it is probably what most people want.
