New Year's Eve at EPCOT will take on its usual format this year following a break last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration" fireworks will take place at 11:50pm, and will include a New Year countdown at midnight featuring rooftop launches from around World Showcase.

The park's new Harmonious firework show will take place at 6:30pm.

Around World Showcase, DJ Dance Parties will take place from 7pm to 1am at China, Italy, The American Adventure and United Kingdom pavilions.

Holiday Kitchens, part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, will be open until midnight.

EPCOT's operating hours for December 31 2021 are 9:30am to 1am, with Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests gaining early access at 8:30am.

I always enjoy Disneylands New Years Eve Show. Was also glad they returned to using Fantasy In The Sky even if it had to be altered to remove the song that is no longer named by the company.

I've driven on World Drive when fireworks shells fall nearby. Fortunately it didn't fall on the roadway when I was in the area along with the other cars.

I'm sorry but SO GLAD DL went back to FITS for NYE!!!! DL had Mix Magic for 2019-2020. I thought FITS sounded new, then I figured it out! LOL!! Also sounds like Horns were not at DL either......I like it!!!!

I agree about the connection with those around you; it's absolutely a show that is much better in person. We enjoyed it tremendously from our vantage point near Morocco. The fireworks shooting from all around the lake at the end was impressive. So much better than the live-stream we saw when it opened.
