Walt Disney World Resort will be celebrating Independence Day with special firework displays, patriotic character meet and greets, and music concerts on July 3 and July 4 2015.

Magic Kingdom

“Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will be performed at 9pm on both July 3 and July 4.

Firework shows at Walt Disney World don't come much bigger than this. In addition to the normal Wishes launch sites, this show uses nine perimeter launch locations, island launch site in the Seven Seas Lagoon, and use of the Water Pageant barges for light show and audio for the Magic Kingdom resorts

Park hours are July 3 - 8am to 1am, with Extra Magic Hours 1am to 3am. July 4 - 8am to 1am.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

“Rockin’ Fourth of July Celebration” fireworks show at 10:15pm on July 4.

Park hours are 9am to midnight, with morning Extra Magic Hours from 8am to 9am.

Epcot

“Illuminations: Reflections of Earth” with July 4 finale at 10pm on July 4.

Park hours are 9am to 10pm, with evening Extra Magic Hours from 10pm to midnight.

The Voices of Liberty will perform a Fourth of July concert at the America Gardens Theatre at 12:30pm, 1:45pm, and 3pm, and in the American Adventure pavilion at 4:15pm and 5pm. Special patriotic character greetings also are available at various times throughout the day at the American Adventure.

It poured on Saturday but around 8:45 at the GF we had a slight drizzle but a BIG lightning show in the sky. Once the fireworks were over it stopped we headed to the monorail to the MK to catch the bus back to Saratoga Springs and went swimming as they kept the pool open later.

It is. Standard crowd control after Festival of Fantasy (when this pic was taken I suspect). The wall of CMs funnels departing guests to the west train station tunnel to prevent them from clogging the MK entrance plaza and turnstiles.

Do my eyes deceive me, or is that a WALL of CMs? :jawdrop:

Not crazy at all look at the folks who camp out at Best Buy 4 days before Black Friday just to get a TV for $99 LOL. The heat this week at crazy we lived in the pools at Saratoga Springs and VGF all weekend.

Was there all day. I camped out on the train station at 1pm for fireworks. You may think I am crazy, but by 2pm there were 6 others. By 3pm, a dozen. And by 5 it was pretty much all filled up.

Our view both days from the GF.

Saw both Friday and Saturday from the GF (we cancelled reservations for Kona Café for 7/4), Friday went off late close to 10, and Saturday went off as planned slight drizzle both evenings. Great show as usual, crazy weather we have had the past 2 weeks here in Central Florida with the evening storms.

Thank you. That explains it! :)

No video, but I can say that the lasers were definitely amazing and a video wouldn't do them justice. My DW took a lot of pictures, but the lasers didn't show up very well. It may have been due to the rain, but I'm not sure. I watched from the Odyssey and must say that it was an excellent location compared to the over-crowded lagoon area.
