Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party has been cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19.
In a statement, Disney said:
While assessing another fall special event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we determined that many of its hallmarks – stage shows, parades and fireworks – are unable to take place in this new, unprecedented environment. With that in mind, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
This year's Magic Kingdom party nights were to begin on August 13 and continue through to November 1. Refunds will be processed in the coming weeks for those who have already purchased tickets.
Disney is continuing to monitor the situation with regard to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the Epcot Festival of the Holidays, but has yet to make any decision.
