PHOTOS - 'Frozen' MagicBands to debut at Disney's Hollywood Studios next week

Disney has today announced that three retail 'Frozen' themed MagicBands will be on sale at Disney's Hollywood Studios next week.

Part of the 'Frozen' Summer Fun - LIVE at Disney's Hollywood Studios event taking place this summer, the bands will feature printed images of Elsa, Anna and Olaf.

The 'Frozen' MagicBands are the second themed bands to be available, following the limited edition Star Wars Weekends bands sold at the Studios earlier this year.

Unlike the Star Wars bands, the 'Frozen' MagicBands are open edition, but will only be available for puchase in the park, and not online or via Merchandise Guest Services. As with all MagicBands, valid park admission must be presented at the time of purchase to allow for linking the band to your My Disney Experience account.

Pricing was not released, but the Star Wars MagicBands were sold at $29.95 + tax. A regular plain colored MagicBand retails at $12.95 + tax.

My daughter is so mad that all the good bands are coming out now so she can't get them. It really stinks that the won't let you buy them and have them shipped. I told Im sure there would be some sort of new bands in November, but she loves Star Wars and Frozen.

Ok, I'm having some trouble with the app and I am sorry if there are repeats in pictures, but throughout the pictures the head is changing between green, blue, and yellow as it goes around in a circle.

I (meaning my parents) used it to enter the parking lot at our hotel, and to get to the pool so they knew that I was actually staying at the hotel I went swimming at. I'm going to try to take a picture of what the FP+ mickey head does later at ToT.

Where at the hotel do you scan it? What about the front gates? Thats really neat.

Ok, so it's $29.99 for the Olaf limited edition one. It sings it's summer when you scan it for fp+, also the FP+ Mickey head lights up in a rainbow of colors instead of just green. At the hotel when you scan it, it has a little jingle. It's really cool!!!

I got an olaf magic band this morning!!!! I will attach a photo of it in this post. It's really cool and magical!! It also has a few extra features with it.
