MagicBands are now available for purchase at the four Walt Disney World theme parks and Downtown Disney.
Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests and Annual Passholders receive complimentary MagicBands, but you have the option of buying a MagicBand to use in addition to your regular ticket or existing MagicBand. It is important to understand that the MagicBand works in the same way as your ticket, but gives you the option of being able to wear it on your wrist for easier access to the touch points throughout the park. MagicBands are not required to take part in FastPass+. FastPass+ with My Disney Experience advance reservations for offsite day-guests begin today, March 31 2014. Read more about that here.
MagicBands are priced at $12.95 plus tax, and are available in seven colors - pink, blue, red, green, orange, gray, yellow, and are available at the following locations around Walt Disney World.

At the time of MagicBand purchase, you must already have an RFID ticket or existing MagicBand. The Cast Member will link the new MagicBand to your ticket, and My Disney Experience account if available. This means that you cannot buy additional bands for other people not present, as each band must be linked at the time of purchase.
You can link multiple MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account, so for Annual Passholders, resort guests, or offsite guests who may want more than one band, this is possible.
Once linked to your My Disney Experience account, MagicBands can be retained and used for future trips.
A 10% discount on MagicBands is available to Annual Passholders and DVC Members.
