Pembe savanna is a brand new savanna now set to open September 1 2009 at Kidani Village in Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. It's located adjacent to the main pool area, and will provide new animal viewings for guests located in the final wing of Kidani Village. The animals found on the new savanna will include Okapi, Yellow-backed Duiker, Impala, Waterbuck and Red River hogs. The Pembe savanna is also unique in that it will only be visible from rooms and overlooks at Kidani Village, and is not connected to the Sunset Savannah which is visible from the original Animal Kingdom Lodge.
