The walkway between Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Magic Kingdom will be temporarily closed beginning February 13, 2023.
Disney expects the walkway to reopen late this spring, but guests with reservations through the end of the year have been notified of the closure.
The closure is to allow work to continue on the refurbishment project at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
Boat and monorail transportation will be available as usual.
The Grand Floridian Resort to Magic Kingdom walkway opened in late 2020 after years of being requested by guests who wanted to bypass Disney transportation and make their own way to Magic Kingdom from the hotel. The walkway also allows guests to walk from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom, via Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
