Disney has announced that the five-star Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris will reopen on January 25, 2024 following a major renovation project.

The completely reimagined hotel is inspired by Disney royal stories, such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "Cinderella," "Sleeping Beauty," "Sword in the Stone," "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin," "The Princess and the Frog," "Tangled," "Frozen," "Moana" and "Raya and the Last Dragon."

The Lobby

The grand lobby takes inspiration from world-famous European castles, blending materials with touches of ivory and gold alongside unique lighting, sounds, and scents that evolve according to the time of day. A chandelier made of Bohemian crystal representing the park's iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle takes center stage. As you step inside, Royal Greeters will be ready to welcome you for your special stay while La Troupe Royale Disney, a joyful duo of comedians, will be on hand to perform surprise sing-alongs and royal tales.

Guest rooms

From the Superior, Deluxe, and Castle Club rooms to the Signature Suites, royal stories can be found in the artwork and subtle décor accents.

The resort includes 16 Signature Suites; the Princely and the Royal Suites will feature unique design elements directly inspired by Disney classics such as "Sleeping Beauty," "Cinderella," "Rapunzel," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Frozen." From Aurora's magical color-changing dress to a shining Sundrop flower and even Queen Elsa's Ice Castle.

All-New Restaurants, Bar and Lounges

At the Royal Banquet, you are invited to attend a royal feast amidst a gallery of paintings featuring Disney Animation's royal families, such as King Triton and his seven daughters from "The Little Mermaid" and even Kronk from "The Emperor's New Groove." Dishes here are inspired by the homes of the beloved Disney Princess characters, like a Spicy Cajun Shrimp dish paying tribute to Tiana. You will also have the opportunity to meet and dine with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends dressed in regal attire exclusive to the hotel.

Inspired by the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, as well as paying homage to the "Beauty and the Beast" ballroom, La Table de Lumière will offer table service dining among elegant mirrors, rose-emblazoned china and thorn-themed napkins. Its French fine dining showcases local, gourmet delicacies such as roses from Provins and sea treasures like lobster, monkfish, and sole fished off the coast of France. To top off the meal, a celebration cake inspired by Belle's rose is on the menu.

You can also enjoy your regal meal in the company of Royal Disney Couples, including Belle and her Prince, Aurora and Philip, Tiana and Naveen, or Jasmine and Aladdin in all-new, exclusive regalia.

For those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, Fleur de Lys Bar offers a view of the hotel's Fantasia Gardens alongside flower-themed signature cocktails and a selection of quality wines. An afternoon tea or a Champagne experience is also available.

Luxury Spa Experiences

At Disneyland Hotel Spa by Clarins and Health Club, expert practitioners can provide classic and signature treatments. To continue the rest and relaxation, Crystal Pool invites guests of all ages for a leisurely dip beneath the glass and metal roof that was inspired by the Laeken Royal Greenhouses in Brussels.

A Royal Experience for Kids

At the Royal Kids Club, designed as a magical library, children aged three to seven can step into their favorite Disney royal stories as they take part in interactive and augmented reality experiences.

The Royal Collection Boutique offers a variety of makeover packages for kids — and even adults, too. This add-on experience ends with a professional portrait session, including a photo print and frames.

His talk was filled with similar statements of questionable veracity.

Anyone that Tony Baxter speaks highly of, I'm completely fine with. Obviously would love to have the Master himself (Baxter) come back in some capacity, but I'll take what I can get.

He said a lot more atttractions ARE BEING BUILT, so he's not teasing something new. This tweet is misleading. Additionally, it's noteworthy that he seems unaware of the park's new name and mentions "a significant amount of attractions that have been opened up," even though the last three attractions opened were WEB (2022), Ratatouille (2014), and Toy Story Playland (2010). Shouldn't he have someone to guide him on how to make his statements more plausible?

Not last night they didn’t!

Well yeah, we're still not fully where we should be, just that right now I think we have the best put all the resorts. I still don't understand why DLP is bringing back illuminations when the guests at DLP like Dreams better. Is it a situation where the normies like Illuminations more but the hardcore fans like Dreams? I know I think dreams is WAY better.

WDW has some holes to fill, MK Night Parade(looks like that's being worked on, thank goodness!) A good Fireworks Show at DHS' MMRR....Even if has to be all Low Pyro. A replacement for ROL at AK would be nice.......

It's actually kind of weird that right now WDW arguably has the best nighttime entertainment lineup in the world, now if DLR did Original WOC and WJ it might be them but right now WDW has the best, which is weird considering we probably had the worst up until last year.

Lot more attractions will open at Disneyland Paris Resort in the next 2-3 years. The only 2 attractions currently announced are Frozen Ever After and Rapionce Tangled Spin

It means he will have a creative leadership role for all projects at the resort. He will be to Disneyland Paris what Joe Rohde was to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the big caveat being that certain properties like Star Wars and Marvel have their own creative leaders who are outside of the park’s creative leadership (for example Fitzgerald didn’t want Marvel to be part of Evolving Epcot).

For me it was not particularly clear what actual responsibility and decision power those WDI titles/roles include. Tom Fitzgerald's recent title was Walt Disney Imagineering Chief Storytelling Executive and Senior Creative Executive for Disneyland Paris. Do we know if he is still responsible for DLP in some capacity? Initially I would have assumed that Michel has been assigned to DLP to oversee the final stretch of construction and opening of the Frozen land - as he just did for HKDL. Hence, I am glad if he will be overseeing the creative portfolio of WDI in Paris overall. I agree that he is a great fit. Considering the lead time of many projects at DLP or WDI in general, I wonder how much time will pass until we can see Michel's creative influence take effect in DLP - apart from Frozen obviously. I strongly hope that he can already make some course corrections on some of the recently announced projects.

It's a great appointment, for 2 reasons. The current person in the role wasn't doing a great job, and Michel is talented and has a wide array of experiences (projects for Efteling, Europa Park and Disney) You can find more info on his portfolio here (in Dutch, use Google Translate) : https://www.eftepedia.nl/lemma/Michel_den_Dulk

Utterly bizarre decision, especially when they only just got the Star working properly again 😂 I could understand taking Dreams! away for something new but yeah almost as weird as DL going to Mix Magic over Wonderous... (and I happen to like Mx Magic, unlike a lot of people!). Also feel like Illuminations is going feel weirdly unfinished with cutting most of Frozen out, while I think the Frozen segment does go on a little too long the end is pretty spectacular and leads into the finale really well. (Also quite like the BaTB section even if the live action scenes feel a little odd in a castle park 😂 ) All indications from people in the know seems to indicate this is a great appointment, hopefully, if nothing he at least brings some cohesion to changes at DLP, rather than the random projects and themes that don't go together!

Yes! Great character, charismatic setting with French influences, and you could even integrate a minature paddlewheel boat in the waterway. UP remains a baffling choice. A good movie, with the instantly recognizable imagery of that house with balloons, but surely an ill fit here.

If I remember correctly, Tony Baxter spoke highly of him which is a good sign. I think he's also Dutch and worked for Efteling before Disney which might give him a European sensibility that helps for the resort.
