I remember going as a kid when it was the only water park. It was modest but never that crowded. I had some exciting slides and I always remember the zip line they had. RIP River Country.

I have to agree that river country was definitly the best water park on disney property. I remember having an annual pass for RC and they were less then what the cost of a day pass for BB or TL is now. After doing a little big of research on why RC closed, i now understand why its closed. According ... [Read more] to the Florida Dept of Recreation, RC closed because the water that is used to make RC run is coming from Bay Lake and the toxins have made it unhealty for the park guests.
