The Enchanted Tiki Room -- Under New Management closed for refurbishment Jan 13, 2011 to Aug 14, 2011

Description

Closed on January 12 2011 and reopened as the original "Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room" on August 15 2011.

"The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management" is an audio-animatronic show in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. It replaced the classic Enchanted Tiki Room attraction that had been performed at the park since opening day in 1971.  Iago, from Disney's animated feature "Aladdin," and Zazu, from Disney's animated feature "The Lion King," have become the new landlords of the show. The original group of Audio-Animatronics characters continue to star in the show including Jose, Michael, Fritz and Pierre.

The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management opened on April 5 1998 and features new musical numbers. A brand new pre-show features a couple of wise-cracking bird-agents, William and Morris, voiced by comedians Don Rickles and Phil Hartman.
