The Canada Pavilion's popular table service restaurant to change its menu
Booked table 3 months prior as a birthday celebration, we arrived on time and was told by grumpy staff that there was a 30min wait. our waiter was less than adequate. Our meals arrived and one member of the party couldn't eat the $50 steak as it was too tough. Another member ordered the $40 salmon and quite frankly the salmon at Red Lobster had more flavour. The food cost is hugely inflated, they are trying to be an a la carte restaurant but the service and quality of food just isn't up to scratch. Very very disappointed:((
We have an ADR for this restaurant during every trip. During our last trip service was poor but the food was still good so we figured it was just an odd thing. During our most recent trip the service was poor and the food was just okay. The ribeye that we all loved is not boneless (takes away a lot of the flavor :( ). The potatoes served with the ribeye were very underdone almost not cooked. When I inquired I was told that was how they are served now (find that very hard to believe). My husband and I ordered the maple creme brûlée and it was horrible. The top was inedible!! The creme tasted like nothing but plain think pudding. Needless to say we were quite disappointed and even years of eating here we are truly not planning on returning. Far too many better restaurants on property to experience and enjoy!
Had reservations for 7:20pm and didn't get seated till 7:50pm. Good food, but way over priced and not worth the hype.
Years before Le Cellier went to Signature status, this was a yearly must do for us. For a few years, our meals weren't as good as they were in the past. We decided to give Le Cellier another try last Fall. I am happy to say, all of our expectations were met, food wonderful, service, although our *Chocolate Mousse* no longer had a red tongue. I'm sorry, I still miss the mashed potatoes and the lobster macaroni that Le Cellier offered in days gone by. The scallop appetizer, was the only let down; well seasoned, but just a bit undercooked to our liking. The martini flight, as always, was fabulous, as was the cheddar cheese soup. (of course, paired with pretzel bread!) Still one of our favs. Overall, we're happy to say, Le Cellier, we will see you this Fall!
