The seasonal restaurant in Adventureland is launching a new menu.
Nearly all Disney operated quick service and table service restaurants now offer allergy-friendly menus - read on for details.
Looking for a new dining experience at the Magic Kingdom?
Wow...where do I begin...Part of our Disney experience was great dining, but this is the one DUD in the 21 meals we ate during the week. Food quality was poor, the condiment bar was a mess, garbage cans overflowing, cafeteria style was disorganized...I could go on and on. I cannot believe this meal cost me the same dining credit as Tony's Tavern or Sci Fi Drive in at DHS. Ouch - rethink this one.
We visited here during our last trip and were pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken Burrito and DH had the nachos. The burrito was huge! I loved the cilantro rice that was on it. There was also a really nice toppings bar. We did find seating to be a bit limited on a busy day.
We recently ate at the Tortuga Tavern for lunch. It was really good for the price. The portions were generous and fresh. There is a toppings bar that allows you to add as much lettuce, salsa, and cheese as you want. The only con is the menu is limited.
Tortuga Tavern was formerly known at El Pirata y el Perico Restaurant. The location changed it's name to Tortuga Tavern in early February 2011, retaining largely the same menu and decor.
