Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid at Magic Kingdom will be unavailable to guests for a short refurbishment beginning July 21, 2025. The ride is scheduled to reopen on July 26.
Disney has not announced any changes to the attraction’s show scenes or ride system. The refurbishment is expected to focus on general upkeep.
The dark ride, located in Fantasyland, opened in 2012 and features scenes from the animated film, including animatronic characters and an undersea musical number set to “Under the Sea.”
