Debuting tomorrow, “Awesome Planet” in The Land pavilion explores the spectacular beauty, diversity and dynamic story of Earth.

In collaboration with the Disney Conservation Fund, the 10-minute film uses in-theater effects (including wind, scents and water) to tell the story of life on this planet and why it’s vitally important to care for it.

“Awesome Planet” features narration by Ty Burrell, star of ABC’s “Modern Family,” and an original musical score.

Fans of Epcot's carpet walls can still find one in the lobby area of the film.

Aerial views have shown that landscaping is still being taken care of in the parks, so I would assume that greenhouses are still being maintained.

Excuse the bump and putting this question here but I did not want to start a new thread. I am wondering how well Living With the Land attraction is faring with WDW closure? Maintained or would have to start over inside the greenhouse when attraction is finally open?

We finally got around to seeing this and I have to say that we all loved it! It's hard what to make of these attractions to an extent, since they're not ground breaking additions, but more so replacements for what was already there. The Circle of Life was fun, but this definitely felt more reverent in tone. The wind/water features were nice, didn't notice smells, but it's all good. The visuals seemed to pop, loved the color. Overall, it's nice to have an attraction in the space, and a very solid followup to the previous attraction too.

I'm sorry that this had to be explained.... Based on the reviews, it seems pretty clear to me that there is only one type of person that dislikes this attraction, and they always seem to mention something about an "agenda" in their list of demerits. 🤔

I was excited about this but it looks horrible. No one at the table was like "hey guy this idea is sort of dumb"? Should have done more of a Planet Earth style show and not a "hey do you want to buy the earth" dumb trope. Dumb concept, too short, annoying agenda pushing... not a good remake at all.

I finally watched Awesome Planet. I'd be lying if i said I didn't get choked up a bit. It really was so beautifully done with just the right amount of wit.

Saw AP on Monday - 3 generations in our group with a thumbs up from all. As I hoped it felt like "real" EPCOT (or formerly real EPCOT). One of the rare times that I wished a show was longer. I am usually ready for even the good ones to end.
