Spaceship Earth's iconic triangles serve as the inspiration for the exterior design of EPCOT's 8,000-foot climate-controlled exhibit space, CommuniCore Hall.

The first of the glass triangle panels are now being installed, and will combine with embedded LED lighting to bring the building to life with colored light after dark.

The new venue will provide space for additional festival offerings that won't depend on Florida weather, which is also subdividable into two distinct sections.

CommuniCore Hall will also be home to an indoor Mickey and Friends character meet and greet.

The surrounding CommuniCore Plaza will feature a garden with space to view entertainment from a covered performance stage and seating for nearby festival food and drink kiosks.

World Celebration will open to guests in late 2023, but it remains unclear if CommuniCore Hall will be ready at the same time.

Part of the project manual / specifications for a project includes things like warranties. Disney is likely not spending any / much money on the attempted fixes as the contractor and/or vendor have not delivered what they said would be delivered.

I would assume the vendor was wholly responsible for at least the initial attempt, so there’s probably not much money being wasted on it. In fact, I imagine they’ll be able to recover a portion of what they paid for it if it never works.

Yes that section of the park seems to be very much like what happened with the daytime Harmonious fountain show. The reality just did not match up with what was presented by WDI. I know very high-ups were absolutely shocked with the World Showcase lagoon situation.

And even when it worked, it only had the desired effect at night. Unlike Fountains and water features which look great in the day as well.

And the planter is a disaster. The idea of a planter wasn't great to begin with, but then they made it about as bland as it could possibly be. Neither the planter itself nor any of the landscaping inside is even slightly impressive or interesting.
