Disney has revealed new concept art and descriptions of the finale float for the upcoming nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, set to debut at Magic Kingdom on July 20, 2025.

The finale float is designed as the grand celebration at the end of the parade, pulling together beloved Disney characters in one glowing, moving display. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade, the float features a whimsical train wrapped in ribbons of starlight.

Leading the way are Goofy and Pluto, followed by Donald and Daisy Duck. Behind them, you’ll spot Snow White and Dopey riding in a twinkling mine cart, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider floating toward a glowing lantern, and Aladdin and Jasmine soaring on their magic carpet. At the very end, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, dressed in sparkling new costumes, wave to guests from a shimmering finale carriage — reminding everyone of the power of wishing upon a star.

This float is a visual and emotional climax, blending nostalgia and modern design. According to Disney Live Entertainment, it’s meant to leave guests with a sense of wonder and joy as they close out their night at the park.

Disney characters guests can see in the parade include:

  • The Blue Fairy
  • Peter Pan & Wendy
  • Asha
  • La Familia Madrigal (Mirabel, Isabela, Bruno)
  • Elsa
  • Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming
  • Miguel and Pepita
  • Moana
  • Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Snow White, Dopey, Rapunzel, Flynn, Aladdin and Jasmine.

Disney has officially announced that Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will debut at Magic Kingdom on July 20, 2025.

It would go a long way to making me at least a little bit gruntled! Times are tough right now, so no promises.

No can do. Don’t shoot the messenger but… They only want gruntled people. 🤷‍♂️

I volunteer my 11-person party to be part of the crowd control simulation! We're there from July 8-15! Pick us!

It's because of the brain stem chips, right?

There will certainly be crowd control simulations, given management’s current trepidation. CMs are the easiest crowd to control.

There were no cast previews when Festival of Fantasy opened. They also used to do previews every year for BTY and MOUCP, but they stopped those as well.

Data exists from previous years that proves parades draw significant attendance. Disney has had it for decades. We can hope.

Believe or not I only have one person on ignore. Otherwise I personally choose not to use it because at the end of day this is a discussion board and I like seeing everyone’s opinions. Regardless of if I find them irritating or not.

At least there should be CM Previews. Anything else, wait and see......

I'd be shocked if there are any previews.

Spectromen and the Fish to. But there’s, surprisingly, no Little Mermaid float in this so I guess the fish wouldn’t work.

    Don't miss out!
