Walt Disney World has confirmed that President Donald Trump will be featured in the Hall of Presidents attraction when it reopens today at Magic Kingdom. Trump’s appearance will include a recorded performance of the presidential oath of office, continuing the long-standing tradition of including each sitting president in the historic show.
The confirmation comes via an official statement from Disney:
“Watch the curtain rise to reveal startlingly realistic Audio-Animatronics replicas of every President of the United States—together for the very first time. Hear a speech delivered by George Washington and a recorded performance of the oath of office by President Donald Trump.”
Trump previously appeared in the Hall of Presidents during his first term, with the attraction closed from January 17 to December 18, 2017, to add his figure and speech. This second term will again place Trump on center stage, alongside all previous presidents, in a theatrical experience that blends American history with Disney’s Audio-Animatronics technology.
The Hall of Presidents has been closed since January 20, 2025, the day of Trump’s inauguration, as part of the usual refurbishment that follows each presidential election. Reopening is set for today, June 29, 2025.
Trump’s inclusion is expected to follow the format used for presidents since Bill Clinton, who was the first to have a speaking role in the attraction. Whether other changes will accompany the updated show remains to be seen.
The Hall of Presidents has been a fixture of Liberty Square since 1971, offering guests a non-partisan presentation of American leadership.
