With just weeks to go until the debut of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, Disney is applying a bold new paint scheme to the exterior of Sunset Showcase at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Crews are on site this week using lifts to install the vivid new design, which features sharp, angular lines and a striking palette of purple, pink, and neon accents.
The dramatic new look is a major visual departure from the building’s previous neutral appearance and appears to reflect the theatrical, magical realm of the Magic Mirror—the central element in the upcoming villains-themed show. The geometric shards evoke the feeling of shattered glass, consistent with the show’s concept of villains breaking through the mirror to tell their side of the story.
Set to open May 27, 2025, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will feature appearances by Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Maleficent, and more, complete with original music, elaborate staging, and a guest-driven finale.
