With the opening of Toy Story Land, Pixar Place at Disney's Hollywood Studios is now closed-off to guests.
During the opening week of Toy Story Land, Pixar Place was being used as overflow queue space, but with crowds in Toy Story Land now stabilized, the construction walls have moved in. Only the restrooms on the corner of Pixar Place remain accessible to guests.
Pixar Place opened alongside Toy Story Mania back in 2008, and also featured Hey Howdy Hey! Takeaway (Snacks), Woody's Picture Shootin Corral (Meet and Greet), and a gift shop.
Although Disney has not commented on the future of Pixar Place, it is expected that it will become backstage space and not a guest area.
