Test Track 3.0 July Annual Passholder Previews
Posted: Sunday July 13, 2025 9:45am ET by WDWMAGIC Staff

Annual Passholder previews for the newly reimagined Test Track at EPCOT got underway today, July 13 2025, and as expected, demand was extremely high. The 7:00 am virtual queue, available exclusively to Passholders with a park reservation for EPCOT, hit capacity in less than three seconds.

This lightning-fast queue fill time follows what we’ve seen with other high-demand preview events and opening days, including Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, where virtual queue slots were fully claimed within seconds of opening.

First Boarding Groups Called at 8:45 am

Disney began calling boarding groups shortly before park opening, with the first groups called, boarding groups 1 through 20, starting at 8:45 am. As of 9:45 am, groups 22 to 27 were being called.

How the Preview System Works

Each day of the Passholder preview period (July 13 - 19, excluding July 17) includes two virtual queue distribution times:

  • 7:00 am – Available only to Passholders with a valid EPCOT park reservation
  • 1:00 pm – Available to all Passholders with valid admission, even without a park reservation

Joining the queue is done via the My Disney Experience app, and each Passholder may join the queue only once per day. There is no standby line, and boarding group access is not guaranteed due to limited capacity.

The reimagined Test Track officially opens to all guests on July 22, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as the preview period continues.

Did we add Special Spice? That seems to work well for reliability in Frontierland, right?

They want people to have the authentic GM experience. I appreciate the effort for the added realism.

The ride has gone down several times today, it’s honestly not seeming like the most reliable at the moment

Fairly certain I (and many others) made a car that looked exactly like that in the design studio in a smart dark blue colour. Must be why they've unveiled it now it's no more! 😅

Nobody buys a car at Test Track, but GM gets their product in front of millions of eyes and some of those people may be in the market for a vehicle or will be in the future. The sponsorship model worked exactly as it was designed to for me recently, I spent the last few years of TT 2.0’s life checking out the Bolt EUV they had in the post show every time I rode. Last month my car died and I was in the market for a new one. I drove home the one I fell in love with at Test Track. Same color and trim even.

I ran into him too! He was about to watch Philharmagic, super great guy to have a chat about the parks with. :)

Looks a lot like the Test Track from my childhood.. 🤷‍♂️

There didn't use to be any barriers. You used to be able to sit in any of the vehicles.

My complaint has nothing to do with whether this is or isn't a showroom. It is, basically, that it doesn't look as fun as it once did. I could be wrong, but I remember walking right up to the vehicles in previous iterations.
