As Cast Member previews for the reimagined Test Track at EPCOT officially begin today, the first on-ride POV videos are surfacing online, giving us an early glimpse at the updated attraction ahead of its July 22, 2025 reopening.

The POV video below offers a full look at the new show scenes, lighting, and a new dual-narrator format, featuring both a human guide and an automated vehicle voice that interact with each other throughout the ride.

The dialogue now blends futuristic storytelling with a personal touch. The onboard audio introduces the journey as a look toward the road to tomorrow, with advanced driving technology and customizable vehicle features featured prominently.

“Welcome. I’ll be your guide on today’s journey, and I’m your automated vehicle. Welcome to the test track,” the new ride begins. “We’ve always been dreaming about the road to tomorrow—and now we’ve set a course for the future.”

As the ride progresses, the automated voice explains how advanced sensors and connected roadways are shaping tomorrow’s mobility. Guests are then prompted to customize their vehicle, choosing between design options in a conversational, back-and-forth style between the narrators.

The ride culminates in the familiar high-speed outdoor finale - “Our road might have had some twists and turns, but the future is always just around the corner—and together, we keep moving forward.”

With Cast Member previews running through July 10, additional preview opportunities are expected soon for Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Club 33 Members, and Golden Oak residents. Disney has promised more details on those previews in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned as more footage and guest impressions emerge during this preview phase.

We have been doing a series of Planner, Filler, Skipper for all the parks and Epcot definitely had the highest % of "skipper" attractions. I love Epcot, but there is a big drop off in the ride popularity like you said. Getting TT back definitely helps but redoing Imagination to be a top tier ride would also help balance the park some

If we're discussing IP rides with sponsors, TRON currently has a sponsor.

    And does it still exist?

Even then,… great movie ride had a sponsor

You know new Attractions can't have no IP in them unless they are paid for by someone else like Test Track.

I don't know whose Idea TBA was but I would not fire the Show Producer for a very obvious reason.

I had spotted that too. Was hoping for TT tee (without ears on it) and a vehicle model.

Is there any actual Test Track merch in the gift shop? All I saw were stuff for GM's cars and Lightning McQueen.
