We went in 2023 and really enjoyed it. I would not take a picky eater or child who isn’t able to sit through long meals, but it’s not so stuffy you can’t bring mature tweens/teens. I really enjoy French food and fine dining and I would say that I liked the food at Monsieur Paul about the same as the food at Victoria & Albert’s, but my husband liked V&A’s a bit better. Happy to answer specific questions if I can. We plan to return for a date night on our next trip.

Here I am now considering Monsieur Paul for our next trip. Has anyone been since reopening and have any thoughts?

It's insane.

Even worse for a large party. Ugh.

$100 per person...

I have eaten Monsieur Paul twice in the past. Both times we came away feeling the food was good/fine but limited and the service inattentive/inexperienced. It was not something we would repeat in that form, at that price. The room was half full both times at $119 per person, I am wondering how it will perform at $195. Interested to see if reported ratings of the food and service will go up and match the price.

Good lord! I'm going to France for 4 days in January and spending less than that on flights and the hotel!

Mon dieu, Paul!

The $100 cancellation within 72 hours is a "no" for me. Before a trip, I'm routinely tweaking my ADRs right up until the last minute. It's one thing to be charged $10 within 24 hours but $100 within 3 days? Forget it. Edit: That pricing. Um, no.

The menu has been updated with new pricing -

Agreed...but at least there is fnally a place to send all the kid hating park goers.

Shame, I am not a big enough eater for that kind of a dinner. Also only eat poultry and have a werido allergen so usually prix fixe ends poorly for me.
