The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom has finally emerged from an extensive exterior refurbishment spanning from 2024 into early 2025. All scrims and construction barriers surrounding the restaurant have now been removed, suggesting that the latest round of refurbishments is complete.
The recent refurbishments began with an initial three-month exterior renovation in late 2024. Shortly after that project’s completion, construction walls returned in early 2025, covering much of the building, including the dining room’s exterior windows. A decorative scrim later appeared around the left side of the building. Throughout this lengthy refurbishment period, The Plaza Restaurant remained open for business as normal.
Now fully uncovered, guests dining at The Plaza can once again enjoy unobstructed views of Main Street, U.S.A., from inside the charming Victorian-inspired dining room.
