The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival returns from March 5 through June 2, 2025, celebrating its 30th year with a mix of new experiences and returning favorites. As crews continue preparations, Disney has announced several new elements that guests can look forward to when the festival begins.

New Topiaries at the Entrance

A brand-new topiary display featuring characters from Moana will greet guests at the park entrance. Maui, Moana, Heihei, and Pua will be added to the collection of elaborate plant sculptures that have become a festival staple.

Expanded Photo Opportunities

PhotoPass will introduce new Magic Shots, including a Figment Topiary Magic Shot, alongside returning favorites. These photo effects will offer guests more ways to capture their festival memories.

New Play Area for Families

A nautically themed play area, Playalong Bay Play Garden presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables, will open between the Imagination! Pavilion and the entrance to World Showcase. This playground pays tribute to EPCOT resort pools and offers an interactive space for children.

New Outdoor Kitchens

Two new Outdoor Kitchens, Yacht Grub and Beach Grub, will debut near Playalong Bay, featuring seafood-focused menus. Florida Fresh and EPCOT Farmers Feast will relocate to CommuniCore Plaza, with the latter housed inside CommuniCore Hall.

Festival Merchandise

This year’s festival merchandise will feature an expanded lineup, including an Orange Bird 30th Anniversary collection and new Spike the Bee accessories. Additionally, an Alice in Wonderland collection will include themed ears and a teacup set.

Inside Out 2-Themed Garden

A new garden in World Celebration will highlight the connection between plants and emotions, inspired by Inside Out 2. This exhibit will explore how different plants can evoke various feelings.

New Performers in the Garden Rocks Concert Series

The festival’s Garden Rocks Concert Series will include new performers:

  • March 30-31: Queensrÿche
  • May 11-12: Maverick City Music
  • May 23-24: The Outlaws
  • May 30-31: The Cat Empire
  • June 1-2: We The Kingdom

    That is exactly what happened

I saw something online that said Disney changed it because they thought it looked like phineas was giving ferb the middle finger. Personally I doubt that but it did make me wonder why they added it.

Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a behind-the-scenes look at creating topiaries for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival:

I know when se shot our pics (below) it wasn't fully complete, and more was added (flowers in the background). Perhaps Disney did the same.

Did anyone else notice the phineas topiary has a weird flower on his finger that looks wasn’t in the promotional photo?

Then don't try the flan cake in Mexico. That thing will end your diet

This is cute! Much better than the food & wine “let’s decorate… with merch and cash registers!” angle. I think it’s just enough. I have to say, I’m really impressed with all the little touches this year. I know we’re a far cry from the hey day of demonstrations and entertainment pluses of festivals past, but it looks like they put some actual time and attention toward things, from the topiary upgrades, to communicore hall, to LwtL displays, down to themed wraps for some of the trash cans. The Smuckers playground even has nautical flags that spell Smuckers! At the very least, I’d say this is a step in the right direction, which is not something that can be said often at WDW these days. I’m excited to visit later this month and see it for myself.

No. My mom has a pretty cool one that I believe they’re still selling though.

I don't suppose you noticed a new Orange Bird magic band? I've think I've seen most of the merch by now but no magic band.

It’s so good. I’ve been getting it consistently for at least a decade.

Thanks for reporting back. :) The topiaries look very nice in pics, can't wait to seem them in person next week. Oh, and I definitely have my eye on that corn on the cob.

So I just got home from Epcot. Everything was really neat. Food was really good. the highlights were the corn on the cob and the peach funnel cake. Merch was great. As someone who loves the color orange the orange bird stuff really appeals to me. Now onto the topiaries. Those were amazing! The best lineup I’ve seen in years I would say! Mickeys picnic was adorable! And I don’t think I’ve ever seen more work go into the setting of one than the Moana topiary! Obviously though my favorite was phineas and ferb. Now I did not enter the hall because we were pressed for time but I will be returning to check it out soon! Side note: found this in the United Kingdom. Thought it was interesting. I may or may not have gasped in delight upon seeing it.
