Walt Disney World has shared its first look at what’s planned for the 2025 holiday season. The offerings largely follow previous years, with holiday entertainment, decorations, themed food and beverage, and character experiences running November 14 through December 31. Disney has not yet released dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Disney Jollywood Nights, although both will return for 2025.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll find across Walt Disney World this year during the holidays:
Magic Kingdom
- “Frozen Holiday Surprise” returns to Cinderella Castle, with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and over 100 Snowgies decking the castle in garlands and lights.
- “Disney Starlight” parade continues during non-party nights with appearances by Elsa and other characters. The parade does not run on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights.
- Jingle Cruise gets its seasonal overlay with holiday jokes and queue decorations.
- Holiday decorations fill Main Street, U.S.A. and the rest of the park, providing classic photo spots.
EPCOT
- International Festival of the Holidays features global seasonal traditions, live entertainment, and returning food booths.
- Candlelight Processional at America Gardens Theatre runs nightly at 5pm, 6:45pm, and 8:15pm, with celebrity narrators.
- Holiday Storytellers return around World Showcase, sharing festive traditions from their home countries.
- Holiday Cookie Stroll and Holiday Kitchens return with new menus to be announced later
- Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition scavenger hunt and Living with the Land: Glimmering Greenhouses both return for the season.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Sunset Seasons Greetings projects holiday scenes onto the Hollywood Tower Hotel each evening.
- Frozen Sing-Along Celebration gets a holiday finale featuring Olaf.
- Characters in Toy Story Land appear in seasonal costumes.
- Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine features holiday-themed character dining with festive entrees and desserts.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Merry Menagerie puppet show returns to Discovery Island, with polar bears, reindeer, and other winter animals.
- Tree of Life Awakenings – Holiday Edition features seasonal projections every 10 minutes after dark.
- Mickey and Minnie meet in festive explorer outfits at Adventurers Outpost.
Disney Springs
- Christmas Tree Stroll returns with Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars-themed trees, including the Haunted Mansion tree.
- Nightly snowfalls return in the Town Center.
- Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar offers seasonal bites and themed cocktails.
- Holiday live entertainment includes stilt walkers, snowflake rollerbladers, toy soldier drummers, and brass bands.
Santa Meet & Greets
- Santa will appear at all four theme parks and at Disney Springs through December 24. Check the My Disney Experience app for exact times and locations.
Disney Resort Hotels
- Seasonal decor, large Christmas trees, and gingerbread displays will be featured at select resort hotels.
- Holiday-themed food and beverage items will be available across the resorts.
- Guests staying at Deluxe Resorts and Villas can enjoy extended evening hours, while all hotel guests can enter parks 30 minutes early.
Holiday Offers
- Save up to 20% on rooms at select Disney Resort Hotels for stays most nights from October 12–November 20 and November 23–December 25.
- Bookings open July 10 at DisneyWorld.com/SpecialOffers.
- Guests adding 4-day or longer park tickets may qualify for up to a $100 dining and shopping card.
