With Halfway to Halloween around the corner, news about the 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates could come any day now.

The annual Halloween event at Magic Kingdom has become a mainstay for Walt Disney World, with announcements typically tied to Disney's Halfway to Halloween promotions.

In previous years, dates were released on:

  • May 6, 2024
  • April 20, 2023
  • April 28, 2022

Based on that pattern, this year's announcement is likely to fall between late April and early May.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party typically runs on select nights from early August through Halloween. The event features stage shows, a special fireworks presentation, the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, trick-or-treating throughout the park, and character appearances.

The Halloween season at Magic Kingdom had its earliest-ever start date in 2024, taking place across 38 nights from August 9 through October 31, 2024.

Ticket sales usually open shortly after the announcement, often with early access windows for Disney Resort hotel guests before general sales begin.

No official date has been confirmed yet for the 2025 parties or when an announcement will be made.

YEah definitely probably will do OOB again, at least they tend to mix up the characters and probably something new will show up.

    At least 20,000 or so...

I think some of you guys underestimate the group of people who have the mindset that they're doing X and the price doesn't really matter. If the price is pumped up, they don't reconsider, they just think "oh, that sucks, well, gotta find the extra cash". They're only deterred if it's actually not possible for them to have enough money. That can be because they have money to burn, or a Disney addiction, or what they're doing is a tradition, or they just have their heart really set on this, or general poor money skills, or whatever, but they're out there and evidently there's a lot of them.

"Sir? People are still buying Halloween night party tickets at the more inflation prices."

unless they add something - just small things. Mickey and Minnie now meet together, new look for Jack Skellington, more Villains roaming around, new dance party, etc certainly, to me at least, not enough new things to entice me if that is what I am looking for so more your thoughts on just the event as it is

For Halloween itself? Put a '1' in front of it.

Is there anything new since like 2023? Still thinking about doing Oogie Bash this year instead again.

Welp, guess $229 is not the price ceiling for Halloween at least

Josh is like, "Quick! Send every ticket holder the email advertising the Villain's party ticket!!!"

I will be in town in late September and have the chance to experience this again… The HalloParty has always been one of my favorite after hours special events, but this year I am just not feeling it. Can’t believe I am saying this, but I am probably not bothering this time around. The price increases ( some seemingly quite higher ) and the lack of anything new announced thus far has me holding off. I have done this event multiple times over the years, and the last six to eight years have all been pretty much the same in all aspects. Except the price, of course…but this year seems to be a big jump. And for the exact same experience. A little variety would be nice… Perhaps as we get closer to the start of the events there will be info about new additions or tweaked ‘enhancments’. For now, I am passing. That, as they say…is scary…..! 🎃 -
