Walt Disney World is extending its early entry and extended evening hours benefits for Resort hotel guests into 2026.
Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels will continue to receive 30 minutes of early entry to all four theme parks each day. This perk, which debuted in October 2021 as a replacement for the retired Extra Magic Hours, allows resort guests to enter the parks before regular day guests, offering earlier access to popular attractions and shorter waits at the start of the day.
For guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, extended evening hours will also continue on select nights at select parks through 2026. These extended hours offer a chance to enjoy lower crowds and cooler temperatures.
The early theme park entry benefit was introduced as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary offerings. It replaced Extra Magic Hours, which had previously offered either one extra hour in the morning or three in the evening at a single park on specific days. Extra Magic Hours were suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 shutdown and did not return.
Compared to the former program, Early Theme Park Entry was designed to spread guest attendance more evenly across all four parks, providing more flexibility and reducing bottlenecks at specific locations.
